The weather obviously disrupts our plans, so I’ll be adjusting the syllabus.

There will only be one assignment for next week, but please give it your full attention:

You will critique one of your fellow classmate’s commute photo story. Canvas should show you which person’s project you’ll review. Focus on aspects of the story and narrative (characters, scenes, pacing, details) and the use of photography as a storytelling device (consider everything from composition to how photos add or detract from the story).

Please submit approximately 300 words of constructive feedback and criticism about what worked and what didn’t for you as a reader. Again, Canvas should indicate which person’s project you have been assigned to review with a link to their project. If you don’t see the link, contact them directly.

Next week, we’ll have a special guest speaker and I’ll outline the midterm project.
